Marcia and family we were so sorry to hear of Chris' sudden passing
It has been many years since we last saw Chris in New York, but Patrick remembers how he had treated us to a lobster meal down at the pier the evening before our return to Canada.. Now I am reading about the person he had become from the young man we had known, with a family and a business.
As a born-again believer, just know that Chris' absence from his body means presence with His Lord ans Saviour. In this you can rejoice.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, may the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace, now and in the coming days.

We remember Chris when we all lived in the Bronx during the early 80’s when he came to NYC to live. Many years passed but we will always remember Chris easygoing attitude and ability to push through any circumstance with positivity and love in his heart. Chris, we know we lost touch over the years, but we will remember you as a great soul and good cousin, nephew. May you rest in eternal peace in paradise. Our deepest condolences to your wife and children. Aunt Bev and Sonji

The Stennetts .... a warm, tight-knit, loving family of great faith. We met when our daughters became besties in middle school; it feels like we’ve known each other all our lives. Chris, the adoring husband and doting father. One of the kindest persons you’ll ever meet. Always willing to say a kind word and lend a helping hand.
Gone way too soon from us .... but your work on this Earth was done and the Big Man called you home. We all know, somewhere in Heaven, the big drum pan grill will be going this summer and the angels will be getting a taste of the good stuff!
Walk good, Chris. We love you and will look out for your family. See you on the other side.
Deepest condolences to the entire family, our hearts are with you.
Lovingly,
The Manganes

This loss is very hard to grapple with. How does one say goodbye to a person when they aren’t ready to let them go? Uncle Chris was my family. During my adolescence, he always made me feel a part of his beautiful family. I was dropped off to various recreational activities along with Brianna and Brandon. Uncle Chris made jerk chicken and grilled fish for my tenth birthday party. Sometimes, in the garage, I would hear Uncle Chris talk cars with his sons Ackeem and Brandon and I would think “WOW he’s such a cool dad!”
Uncle Chris was kind, a man who had time to talk shop with his sons, and play with his daughter and still care enough to make an adolescent girl jerk chicken on her birthday. He was strong - a man who survived brain surgery, and he was fun to be around. The world needs more men like Uncle Chris yet he was one in a million.
Thank you for all the love that you have shown everyone. Thank you for your laughter and most of all thank you for being you.
We love and Miss you Uncle Chris. Rest well in paradise.

Cuz you didn't get to say goodbye
But on eagle's wings you had to fly.
It hurts so much to know you're gone
Won't be the same... Stennett's minus one.
The super-tight bond you guys have knit,
I know you still can't believe it.
For me I'll especially miss, "Troublesome what you up to?"
Or Cuz what's going on?
But I'll treasure the memories
Every single one .
Rest in Peace Chris.
Marcie, Brandon, Bre, Ackeem - Our love and prayers are with you. Richard, Ann-Marie, Dominic & Dylan

Hey Papa,
It's weird not being able to speak or see you in person/on the phone. Though I know you're not here physically, you're here spiritually. I wish I could speak with you again. I wish I could cook with you again. I wish I could dance & listen to music with you again. There are many moments such as everyday living, birthdays, holidays, graduations, license, wedding day etc. that I'll just have to learn to live with. The thing is though it will never be the same without you and nothing or no one will ever replace you. I thank you for being my mentor, superhero, and most of all my papa. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be your daughter. I LOVE YOU FOR FOREVERMORE!!!!
- Love your "pookie"

Loving Memory Tribute
offered by Flo, Marie, Judy, Joy, and Family
For several years, Chris and Allan lived with their other “Ma and Pa” (Allan and Telsa Simmons) in Jamaica while awaiting their travel to the US to join their mother and other siblings. Our family was blessed to have Allan and Chris as little brothers at home. During those years, Chris was a kid with big ideas, curly black hair, skinny legs, red lips, and a “Know-It-All” busy-body attitude. Non-chalantly, he always had the answers and a willingness to help in any given situation; all traits which he carried into his adult life.
Never forgetting his upbringing, he modeled his life on lessons learned, continuing on the path of being jovial, kind, resourceful with big laughter ...always willing to lend a hand. Later, with the responsibilities of being a father, husband, son, brother, grand-father and friends to many, Chris has always kept in-touch with our family.
We may not have seen him as often as we would have liked, but it was understood that we were sharing him with so many other people who are blessed to have known Chris and walked through this phase of life with him.
It is with great sadness that we all mourn the passing of Chris and we want his family to know that we will never forget them, you will never be alone. God Bless you and you remain in our prayers.
Chris is now in Heaven with his Lord; He is truly free. No more Covid. No more pain. Rest in Peace Chris

Hey Columbus, what is up Brethren, long time no-see...when are you coming down to my neck’o’ the woods?? That’s the way this reality has been playing out in my subconscious since his passing. I’ve NOT accepted the truth that he’s no longer with us bc I was so looking forward to our long discussions on politics, life in general and Beemers!!! I still stand around most afternoons waiting and expecting his maxima or his white infinity suv to pull into the parking area as usual but it hasn’t done so in a awhile and that has created a helpless emptiness that I haven’t been able to shake so far!! It’s just too soon for him to leave and I’m sure he wasn’t ready bc he has been looking well ahead to retirement with his lovely wife(Marcia) and beautiful children in tow to sunny Florida at the earliest opportunity. I am missing him so so much ...May the Lord bless and secure your soul, my Brother, in his archive of worthy Christian saints up there in Heaven.I love you maan...MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.

One thing I can remember about Bro Chris is how he talked about food preparation and how he made something seemingly difficult for me and others sounded so easy. I understand later that for him it was like a walk in the park and that's the reason he always came off sounding like that. If someone should ask me if that was one of his ministry, without hesitation I would say yes. Two words out of many to describe my brother, HUMBLE and WILLING. Sleep in peace my brother.

Dad as the days get closer and closer its beginning to hit hard and become real. These next couple of days, months, years, everything is going to be tough and hard not having you here. Today when mama showed me the portrait of you on the easel that was blown up and the programs thats when reality began to set in and I almost lost it, I had to take a drive to clear my head. Normally when I'm on my way to work and we have nice weather like this your always outside in the mornings once your home from work and tell me hey, have a good day at work, and see you later, I still look for you when I'm on my way to work; when I come over after work once your home your normally the first person I see sitting at the dining room table. I still feel your presence and that your still here which you are spirituality, but not physically. You treated me like a daughter and always called me your adopted daughter, I miss you terribly and to be able to not see you, get your nice warm hugs and hear your laugh and jokes hurts my heart. I know if I need talk to you I can just call on you as I always have but just in another way now. I don't know how we will get through this but I know your looking down and guiding us one day at a time with your savior up in heaven. I love you so much and will miss you extremely so. Please send Mama, Bri Bri, Brandon and Keem your strength and guide them to get through these next couple of days as they will need you more than ever now.
- Love you always, Neish

Dear Uncle Chris,
This is so hard for me to write; it feels so surreal. I'm going to miss seeing and hearing your voice truly. You were always there for me and always someone I can count on matter what. I remember when I called you last minute, not even a full 24 hrs and told you that I couldn't get the limo for my proms after party; you told me not to worry. You came and picked up me and my friend in a black town car dressed as a limo driver. I can't even say I was surprised because you've always done things for me my whole life. I keep seeing visions of you in a tan linen suit, just looking so relaxed. I know you're in a better place now watching over us. Nickelle and I will always cherish the moments we had with you. Rest in Paradise Uncle.
Love always, Tracey & Nickelle

Who would ever think that I lose a Brother, a friend, a true father, and a True family man. A man who goes out and work hard for his family. One of the most given person you can ever know. No matter if it is his last, Chris would say " just take it and don't worry about it." Its gets hard at times living knowing that I won't see my brother again. Jah know. He was by my side when I purchased my first and second vehicle making sure I was not a bad deal. My brother Chris was by my side at my graduation from college and we always made time to have talks away from everyone else when we went on vacation to Jamaica. Just having a big brother little brother moment, he was by my side. A big family man I always enjoyed spending weekends at his house and was one of the places " I felt at home". Thank you for always being there for me I will miss you in the physical by side , but I know you will always be my side and watch over me like you have done aways by my side. He were truly amazing in every way or at anytime as you could have reach out to him or as he always do, offer himself and time for any and everyone. Dad, it breaks my heart to know that you are no longer with us. I’m happy to have met you and I will cherish every moment spent with you. I never knew such love between a grandfather and grandchild existed until I watched you and Christian together. We love you and we’ll miss you dearly.

On this Easter weekend, we are reminded that Jesus conquered death for us all with His resurrection. I know we will meet again. Til then, cousin Chris, watch over your family and keep them safe. May God grant them peace and comfort through this very sad and difficult time. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord in your mercy, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.

For the short time I've known Bro Chris , I've admired his humility. When you speak of "humble " you speak about Bro Chris. He goes all out to make preparation for planned activities without even complaining, he was such a dedicated brother and will surely be missed. SIP my brother. May God continue to grant strength to the family members at this time and time to come.

My dear Brother now that you are gone
You’re no longer here to share
The bond we had together-
A bond of love and care.
Yet, somehow something tells me
You are watching over me-
Now that from Worldly cares
You are finally free.
I miss you so very much,
And my tears I cannot hide
Yet, within my heart, I feel
You are always by my side.
Ever since you went away
Life has never been the same
Yet, it comforts me to know
That one day we’ll meet again.

Christopher was such a caring person through and through; dedicated, reliable and helpful too. He was a hard-working man who knew the Lord with a humble heart and a giving spirit. We are so sad you had to depart. And although something like this we’d never have guessed, Heaven is now your home of eternal rest. We saw you only a while ago, and to this day we miss you so; Your happy smile and glowing face, those precious memories will never erase. Your willing spirit and faithfulness to every person you did bless. Miss you but we had to let you go.

Chris, we will miss seeing you in Church on a Sunday when we come down, fixing your tie with Brianna...hearing your voice as you chit chat with Bro. George, both of you staying up and navigating as we go on our trips to convention. Kyle still trying to catch you in height. Keep making heaven happy my bro. As you fry fish and jerk chicken..don't forget the sorrel. Fly high until we meet again. Always in our hearts.
