My deepest deepest condolences you all. Momma Burton was literally One In A Million. Every single time I was Blessed to be in her presence she always gifted me with so much love! It felt so damn good just to be next to her! And the Wisdom on top of that was just everything!! I pray one day I am loved just as much as she was and give the love back just like she did, no matter what! A true Angel she was, walking on earth! She will be truly missed! Love you Tubar! We were so honored to be part of Mama’s life. She always had a smile, a hug, and a kiss on the cheek!
She knew how to live her life…loving God and always loving others. Always a joy to be around. We know that now she is rejoicing in the heavens with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I offer my deepest condolences to the Tubar, Malik, Sissy and Burton family. I had the great pleasure of meeting both Ms. Gertrude and Mr. Stanley and spending a holiday with the family. I was treated with love and care as if I was their forth child. That lovingmemory has been with me for 30 yearsever since. Losing the Matriarch of the family is never easy. It can pull families completely apart. But I'm sure that Mother Gertrude has fully equipped this family to stay strong, stay united, and continue the loving values she brought and keep all the from the Caribbean.
