I attended elementary and junior high with Neil. I remember him as a warm, thoughtful, gentle and kind person and I have always thought of him over the years. He was especially nice to me in junior high (we sat next to one another in class) and I was always thankful for knowing him. I encountered him haphazardly once (in the mid1970s), while shopping in Alexanders, and we chatted about what we had been up to since leaving Horace Greeley.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Neil was a good person, a talented person, and a cherished part of my past. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
