Obituary of Frank A. Cobb
Frank Arnold Cobb was born on April 23, 1959, in New York, New York, to the late Theodore Q. Cobb Sr. and Mary E. (Buckner) Cobb. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Frederick J Cobb. He departed this earthly life on November 28, 2022.
After graduating high school in 1977, Frank enlisted in the United States Navy where he served as a Naval Administrative Support Specialist for 7 years. After his departure from the United States Navy, Frank settled in Phoenix, AZ with his twin brother Ron and wife Fran, doing various jobs while he reaccumulated himself to civilian life. Frank returned to his hometown of Roosevelt, NY in 1988 and worked at various jobs such as a technician at the Huntington Dialysis Center in Freeport, NY, and as a Customer Service Representative at AAA in Garden City, NY just to name a few. Frank spent the last 15 years of his life at Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center in Manhattan, NY due to illness.
Frank had a very nurturing and charismatic personality that caused young people and old alike to gravitate towards him naturally. Frank loved reading, photography, and writing poetry. But more than anything, Frank enjoyed being with family.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Donovan Cobb of Brentwood, NY, two brothers his twin Ronald Cobb (Francois pre-deceased) of Harlem, NY, and Ali Kaazim (Zakiyyah) of Wilmington, NC, three sisters, Cheryl Turner of Westbury, NY, Marta Rutherford (Felix Ogleton) of Roosevelt, NY, and Stacey K. Wright (Anthony L. Wright) of Lancaster, SC, one sister-in-love Lula Marie Cobb of Brooklyn, NY, granddaughter Sevyn Grace Cobb of Brentwood, NY, nine nieces, ten nephews, close friends Reginald Tyner and Teddy Breland and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
