My sincere condolences to the Douglas family. Eric left an impression on my son Jaelen like a father figure. I appreciate him for being in his life. Me and E go back to the 70s. We both lived on Merrick Road in Freeport. I didn't just know E, we were friends. We would share long conversations about everything. We would go to clubs together. When he got sick it hurt me a lot. We would still talk but it wasn't the same. It looked like he was fading away before my eyes. When I found out that he had passed it hurt a lot. I don't have many friends that I can count on. It's like losing a brother. I don't know what I'm going to do without him. True friends are hard to come by. I'm going to truly miss you my Dude. Rest in peace.
