Keith was a student of mine 47 years ago at Dodd Middle School in Freeport, L.I.
I saw him grow and mature through the years into the wonderful person he truly was.
Keith and I stayed in touch and remained friends throughout the years.
We played handball together often (something Keith loved to do and was excellent at).
We attended all of his brother Andrews boxing matches throughout Long Island and Nyc.
We put up fences and basketball hoops together at my home for my kids to play and be safe.
Keith would often stop over my home on the way home from work to have an apple (which he loved to eat) and stay for an hour or two just to talk, catch up and laugh a bit.
In the 47 years I knew Keith we never had bad words or any sought of argument
All we did was laugh and have fun.
We became family.
He always called me Mr Block or Pops
I will miss you old pal and I will always cherish and remember the
47 great years of friendship we had.
You were one special person who touched the lives of everybody that crossed your path
Love you and miss you so much
