Q: What will you miss most about William?
A: What I certainly will miss was his very unique laugh and a voice that was both booming and gentle simultaneously. He was certainly a people person and as much as you know, none of us will go on forever; he was someone you wanted to never leave. He fitted in your life like a favorite sweater you'll never get rid of . Fitting so perfectly; warm, comforting, colorful, and soft as cashmere. When you think for just a moment on folks you will remember with a smile inside that comes from a sincere appreciation for being fortunate to have existed on the planet, not only at the same time as Bill; but, the fact that not only did your life's paths cross, they stayed together and mingled. Till the end and forever. Selfishly I will miss him. I had the esteemed honor to call him,FRIEND. To the family my deepest condolences and heartfelt thanks for sharing the gentle soul simply known as BILL.

My condolences to the first family I knew growing up on Rose Ave. William (affectionately known as Bland) will be tremendously missed by the Mealer family. I’m going to miss the memory lane conversations every time we ran into each other, but I will cherish all those memories with great honor. My heartfelt sympathy is extended to the entire family. I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my former neighbor and friend, William (Bland) Wise. I have known him for more than 70 years and found him to be a wonderful neighbor, kind and compassionate gentleman. My heartfelt sympathy to his daughters Sherri and Wendy, siblings Sylvester, Cynthia and Valerie and all of the entire Wise family.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
